Hapag-Lloyd has announced a new service connecting Western Turkey with the Red Sea, which is expected to start in mid-June.

From 15 June 2024, the German ocean carrier will introduce its new Türkiye Red Sea Express (TRE) with the following port rotation:

Istanbul, Turkey - Izmit, Türkiye - Aliaga, Türkiye - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - Aqaba, Jordan - Istanbul
